2 Corinthians 3:7-18

For a church to thrive its individual members must see personal spiritual growth. The church must do all it can to help each member grow and develop as a Christian. The aim is to become more like Christ each day.

Hebrews 5:11-14

What goes into a person determines what comes out of them. Diet is not just about food. The church must endeavor to offer each member a diet of spiritual nourishment that will create a deeper hunger for God and His Word.

Galatians 6:1-2

The spiritual, emotional and physical health of the Christian is of great importance to the church. Sharing burdens and giving prayer support is essential. There is a place for biblical and gracious discipline and godly mediation where there are disagreements.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

Each member is uniquely gifted by God for service in His church and world. The church must help the individual to identify their gifts under the leading and discernment of the Holy Spirit. The church must promise to encourage , help and train.

Matthew 28:16-20

It is God that we wish to uphold and glorify in the church and in our daily lives. He is the one we seek to put first in all things. He is also the one we are called to make known to the world around us through words and action.

1 Timothy 6:20-21

Members must stand by the church’s statement of faith and support each other. The leaders God has given us should be prayed for and supported in their onerous task. Members should seek a godly unity wherever possible.

Matthew 25:14-30

Everything we have comes from God; even life itself. When we submit to Christ as Lord all we have must be surrendered in His service. We must use our time, abilities, possessions and money as God directs.
