We love it when our own people or our great guest speakers bring a specific and timely message from God's word to us - this is a collection of those messages from 2018.

Part 1: Pentecost

by Chick Yuill May 20, 2018 10:30am

Acts 4: 23-28

What should a church be like on which the Holy Spirit has fallen? When we think about the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the receiving of the Holy Spirit we often think of it in terms of individuals but almost always, when the Holy Spirit falls, He falls on a company of people.

Part 2: Vision

by Chris Mellor July 15, 2018 10:30am

Vision is about seeing the unseen. It is about seeing not just what is but what with God could be. Every area of our life needs vision.

Part 3: Go to God

by Dave King July 15, 2018 6:30pm

Proverbs 3:1-10

We need to really listen to God. He always has the right answer, the right path. God has always got the right help we need to make the right decisions.

Part 4: Barzillai

by Eddy Inglis August 5, 2018 10:30am

2 Samuel 19:31-40

As we seek to serve the King we must be aware not only of our experience and strength but also of our limitations and weaknesses. Barzillai was a man who served lavishly and lovingly in spite of his limitations. He was a man who wanted to leave a legacy and was blessed by the king.

Part 5: Simeon and Anna

by Eddy Inglis August 12, 2018 10:30am

Luke 2:22-38

Here we have a picture of two people who finished well. A woman and a man who wanted to live as close to God as they could. Who, only near the end of their lives did they see that which they had longed to see. We see lives, waiting, watching and witnessing.

Part 6: Sarah and Abraham

by Eddy Inglis August 19, 2018 10:30am

Genesis 18:9-15 and 21:1-7

In the lives of Sarah and Abraham we see fruitfulness even into the latter days of their lives. The Sovereign Lord can use the most unlikely to fulfil His purposes. In spite of failure, through faith they received that which was longed for and with that they receive a future from God beyond their wildest hopes and dreams.

Part 7: Paul

by Eddy Inglis August 26, 2018 10:30am

2 Timothy 4:1-18

Here is a man who knows nothing of retirement. He knows that the end of his life is near and his focus remains the same. To practice the presence of God; to prepare God's people for service and to live in all circumstances in praise to God.
