Part 2: Names of Jesus

by Eddy Inglis February 4, 2018 10:30am

Matthew 1:23 | John 1:29 | Matthew 16:16

Jesus has many different names in the Bible. These names help us to understand more of who He is and what He came to do and be. In this sermon we learn more about some of these names and explore their meanings.

Part 3: The Power of Faith

by Tom Ward February 11, 2018 10:30am

Hebrews 11

What becomes possible when we have faith in God? Here we look into the stories of people who through faith did extraordinary things. We see how these ordinary people saw many situations change for the better.

Part 4: The Power of Prayer

by Dave King February 18, 2018 10:30am

Matthew 6:5-18

Jesus starts to teach about how to pray. He explains the right way to go about praying as well as a simple but profound structure to pray. In this we are informed, encouraged and challenged about how to pursue the power of prayer in our own life.

Part 5: The Power of Scripture

by Matt Pierce February 25, 2018 10:30am

Matthew 4:1-11

Here we see how Jesus uses Scripture; He would have learned growing up to make wise choices even when under pressure to act in a different way. Here we are shown how we can use the power of scripture in our own lives in making and then implementing wise choice.

Part 6: The Story of God’s Guidance

by Eddy Inglis March 4, 2018 10:30am

Daniel 1

In the amazing life story of Daniel we see a man who knew what it was to be guided by God throughout his life in many different ways. Here we can glean some great under-standing of how to know and follow Gods guidance.

Part 7: Who Is the Holy Spirit (Away Day)

by Mairisine Stansfield March 10, 2018 10:30am

For a long time in the church the person and work of the Holy Spirit has been ignored, misunderstood and resisted but the Holy Spirit is biblical and is the third person of the trinity. The Holy Spirit is a person, not an ‘it’ and should not be feared.

Part 8: How Can I Be Filled with the Holy Spirit (Away Day)

by David Stansfield March 10, 2018 6:30pm

What the Holy Spirit does and brings to our lives is all about love. Every Christian has the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9) but not every Christian is filled with the Spirit.

Part 9: Fruit of the Spirit

by David Stansfield March 11, 2018 10:30am

Looking at the Fruit of the Spirit it in a more fundamental sense. The Fruit of the Spirit in our lives is whenever we pray to God and say we want to be worshipers who worship in Spirit and in Truth and what this means in our everyday lives.
