Have you been to a place recently which has a dress code? Have you had to hire a tuxedo or evening gown for a black tie dinner? Or wear a suit for work? Or for younger members of the fellowship, do you wear a uniform at school? A dress code is considered important in creating the right environment.

As Christians, we also have a dress code. God calls on us, as His dearly loved children, to clothe ourselves appropriately each day: to wear the garments of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. And over all these, we are to “Put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:14

As we prayerfully do so, God’s Holy Spirit builds an environment of grace, peace and power in our lives.
