Elmwood is seeking to collect food, clothing and toiletries as a gift for the men living at non-Council funded Lancaster House, only a few hundred metres from Elmwood. The 38 men are seeking to reintegrate into society after spending time being homeless. Recently several of our homegroups have teamed up to host a regular social time at Elmwood with some of the men.

It would be great to add our support with gifts, and items for their foodbank. Your donations could include: flannels, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, tinned and dried goods (rice and pasta), tea, coffee, long life milk and also some seasonal treats such as chocolate, mince pies and Christmas cake. Small items of warm clothing (underwear – and socks are always needed).

Boxes for donations will be in the foyer from Sunday 27th Nov. to Sunday 18th Dec. For more info see Sarah Freck or Maureen Williams
